Background to the Story:
I wrote ‘Grumpy Grandpa’ for my daughter Ella and her not-so-grumpy grandpas one afternoon while I was waiting for her to finish her ballet lesson. My daughter has always loved to dance and sing and play dress-ups … but she can be a little shy sometimes, and she definitely does not like being yelled at!
